To enhance the lives of SMATAC (South Metro Atlanta Tuskegee Alumni) by introducing the greatness of Mother Tuskegee to our future sons and daughters.

Our Vision

To keep our community aware of Tuskegee University through scholarship, service, education, unity, and finance.

Our Belief

We, the alumni of Tuskegee University, believe that all students have the right to higher education. We believe in supporting fellow Tuskegee Alumni. We believe in educating our community on the global, national, state, and local contributions of fellow Tuskegee Alumni to our society.

How to Become a Member

All graduates, former students, former teachers and persons who have received honorary degrees or certificates from Tuskegee University shall be eligible for membership in the South Metro Atlanta Tuskegee Alumni Club, Tuskegee National Alumni Association, Inc.

Associate Membership – Any spouse, relative and friends of the above shall be eligible to become an associate member of the South Metro Atlanta Tuskegee Alumni Club, Tuskegee National Alumni Association, Inc.

Rights and Privileges – Any financial member shall be privileged to attend all meetings and functions of the organization; to vote in the election of officers and organizational business. A financial member is one whose dues are current.

$80 for the year. ($35 National Dues)($5 Southeastern Regional Dues)($40 Local Chapter Dues)

A Message from SMATAC's President

Greetings Fellow TI/TU Alumni,
As a 1994 graduate of Tuskegee University, it is with great honor to serve as President of South Metro Atlanta Tuskegee Alumni Chapter. It has always been my vision to lead through service, talent and financial gifts in our local communities on behalf of Mother Tuskegee. One of the major focus for our chapter is: STEM Youth Group. We will capture youth from our service areas (Coweta, Carroll, Clayton, Douglas, Henry, Fayette, & South Fulton Counties). Leading our youth mission is Ms. Kami Tucker.
In the area of Scholarship, on the even years we will have our scholarship gala and on the odd years we will have our Taste of Tuskegee event. Looking ahead, get ready to join us for our Inaugural Taste of Tuskegee affair. Proceeds raised from these two events will assist students in our service areas to attend Tuskegee University. As you peruse our website, we hope you mark your calendars and join us for meetings and events. We encourage you to join our chapter by giving of your time, talents, or monetary gifts (tax deductible). Most importantly, we want you to STAY TRUE TO TU by helping us uphold our motto: One School, One Family, One Spirit, One Purpose-Mother Tuskegee!!!
